General Entrance Examination A (First Term)

1. Qualification for Applicants

Applicants who belong to the following item:

(1)
Graduated from high school or secondary education school, or is scheduled to graduate in March 2017
(2)
Has completed twelve years of schooling, or will have completed it by March, 2017
(3)
Applicants have been recognized, according to Article 150 of the School Education Law, to have the same or higher academic skill as a high school graduate (successful applicants to the Certificate for Students Achieving the Proficiency Level of Upper Secondary School Graduates held by the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science, and Technology (including the University Entrance Qualification Examination), who will be 18 years-old by March 31, 2017, who have completed a course at an overseas institution designated by the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science, and Technology, etc) or who is expected to satisfy this condition by March 31, 2017.

2. Selection Method

Two-Subject Type Selection Method: Applicants are matriculated by two-subject type.

1. Qualification for Applicants

Applicants who belong to the following item:

Graduated from high school or secondary education school, or is scheduled to graduate in March 2017
(2)
Has completed twelve years of schooling, or will have completed it by March, 2017
(3)
According to Article 150 of the School Education Law, applicants who have been recognized to have the same or higher academic skill as a high school graduate (successful applicants to the Certificate for Students Achieving the Proficiency Level of Upper Secondary School Graduates held by the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science, and Technology (including the University Entrance Qualification Examination), who will be 18 years-old by March 31, 2017, who have completed a course at an overseas institution designated by the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science, and Technology, etc) or who is expected to satisfy this condition by March 31, 2017.

Selection Method: Applicants are matriculated by an examination. (In the Department of Performing Arts and Department of Applied Music, a practical exam will be added.)

Has completed twelve years of schooling, or will have completed it by March, 2017

2. Selection Method

(1)
A decision will be made from the results of the National Center Test for University Admissions for the subjects designated by this school.
There is no separate achievement test.
(2)
The university will use three subjects from the National Center Test for University Admissions (Department of Education is three or five subjects, the Department of Food Sciences and Nutrition is three or five subjects, the Department of Architecture is four subjects, the Department of Pharmacy is three or five subjects to determine the admission decision.
(3)
The Junior College Department will use two subjects to determine the admission decision. The score of the subject with the higher score will be doubled with 200 points as full mark, and the score of the subject with the lower score will remain unchanged with 100 points as full mark to make up a total full mark of 300 (for departments with designated subjects, the scores in these necessary subjects must be at least 200 when doubled).
