Abstract:
Architectural Space Montage Method was thought up by authors.
Subject's mental image is expected to be represented by miniatures
1 to 50 scale, such as units of walls, furnitures, people and
trees on a white plate 60cm*90cm. Schizophrenic patients try to
make a model of the ideal ward in mental hospital. This method
would not deteriorate psychopatholgy because of forming only daily
living space unlike sandplay therapy. Framing, disturbed association
of ideas and preference of protected space were represented on
their own works. This mathod might be a useful therapy in near
future because of interests by patients, endurance and impetus
to patients.

Abstract:
Architectural Space Montage Method was thought up by authors.
Subject's mental schema is expected to be represented by the disposition
of miniatures 1 to 50 scale on a white plate 60cm*90cm. School
children as subjects of this method tried to make models of the
ideal school. The earlier disposition of the architectural space
by walls without furniture showed the subject's mental schema
in the developed stage of the process. An entrance was imaged
as a center of school. Inconsistencies of functional relations
of spaces were found in models in the undeveloped stage. The difference
in schema between schizophrenic patients and children was clarified.
Models showed that girl liked the space surrounded.

Abstract:
Architectural Space Montage Technique was thought
up by authors. Mentally handicapped children's schema is expected
to be represented by miniatures 1 to 50 scale, such as units of
walls, furniture, people and trees on a white plate 60 cm*90 cm.
We analysed spatial components of works by this method, and investigate
that the development of ability for arrangement of spatial components
is correlative with the mental age of the subject. Characteristics
of works by autistic children and Down's syndrome children are
examined. We discussed characteristics of works by mentally handicapped
children, comparing with characteristics of works by school children
and kindergarteners. The analogy of works by a subject is studied
, and also the analogy between a work by a subject and an architecture
plan of his school is investigated.

Abstract:
Architectural Space Montage Technique was
designed by the authors. The subject's mental schema is represented
by spatial composition of miniatures on a 60B by 90B white plate.
The scale for miniatures, such as furniture, people, trees, flowers
and many kinds of standardized walls, is 1 to 50. In this experiment
twenty-four kindergarten children made 40 models of the kindergarten.
By analyzing each model and the children, we clarified characteristics
of spatial composition and many types of subconscious schema,
such as maldistribution, primordial enclosure, a great variety
of configurations composed of furniture, complex of rooms integrated
with corridor.

structuralization, the birth of the structure, the organization
of space.

Abstract:
Subjects' schema is expected to be representented by Architectural
Space Montage Technique. Kindergarteners as subjects of this method
tried to make model of their kindergarten and to draw a picture
of it. The primitive schema is represented by independent scenes
composed of a few components. Other type of primitive dispositions
are seemed. We called them "linear disposition","disorderly
disposition" and "symbolic enclosure". The linear
disposition and the disorderly disposition was seemed in works
of handicapped children. In drawing, there were some subjects
who used "the Primordial Circle" . It is thought to
be one of the primitive schema.

Abstract:
The purpose of this paper is to show the second stage in the
development of kindergartener's schema that we have foundハ in
Architectural Space Montage Technique. The details of our experimental
method is shown in our another report,"The primitive schema
in the developmental stage". we call this second stage "The
generation of the distinction between interior and exterior space".
Moreover we've discovered two kind of works in this stage. One
is "The generation of the enclosure", and the other
is "The perfect enclosure". Meanwhile, each child's
drawing roughly corresponds to his work in Architectural Space
Montage Technique.

Abstract:
The purpose of this paper is to show the third stage in the development
of kindergartener's schema that we have found in Architectural
Space Montage Technique. In this stage we observed the differentiation
of the interior space and the appearance of the room.ハ Moreover
we could divide their works into two groups by the process of
making the room. One is "Putting the furniture first"
and the other is "Putting the walls first". we found
some charactaristics of them in works of Architectural Space Montage
Technique and drawing.

Abstract:
In Architectural Space Montage Technique, twenty-three kindergarten
children made 38 models of the kindergarten. And they made drawings
of the kindergarten. By analyzing each model, we clarified the
characteristics of spatial composition from primordial distribution
to configurations composed of both furniture and walls as various
indications of enclosure. Types of spatial composition are "maldistribution",
"primordial enclosure", "distribution of miniature
models facing the subject", "distribution of miniature
models oriented to the frame of the plate", "uniform
distribution", "aligned", "configurations
composed of furniture", "a wall used as an entrance",
"a wall used as a partition", and "a string of
walls".

Abstract:
In Architectural Space Montage Technique, kindergarten children
made models of the kindergarten. By analyzing each model, we clarified
the characteristics of spatial composition since incomplete enclosure
with walls. Since an appearance of configurations composed of
furniture, the works have been more organized; for example, the
model including both configurations composed of furniture and
enclosure, the model organized by walls. Types of spatial composition
are "incomplete enclosure", "a group of configurations
composed of furniture and incomplete enclosure", "complete
enclosure", "a group of configurations composed of furniture
and complete enclosure", "comprehensive enclosure",
and "organization of rooms".
