科目目的 Course Objectives	This course is designed to assist students in their oral communication skills. The basic skills of language development are introduced to students in the context of conversing about relevant topics. Students discuss their opinions by using communicative strategies with their classmates and instructor.
到達目標 Class Goal	Goals in communication class are determined as students and teachers discuss the purpose of the course objectives. Students are responsible for their learning plan and they can achieve the class goal of using English in practical ways.
授業内容 The Content of the Course	Students will learn to use conversational English by discussing interesting topics related to everyday life. They will have opportunity to improve their pronunciation, increase their English vocabulary and comprehension of English through a variety of activities.
授業計画 Class Plan	The Class Plan of 15 classes includes these topics: 1. Introduction 2-3. Personal Information 4-5. Family and Home 6-7. Hobbies 8-9. Times and Dates 10-11. Shopping 12-13. Routines 14. Review 15. Final exam
授業方法 Class Method	The class method includes developing students’ communicative language skills through a variety of learning methods. Students articulate their opinions through lively classroom discussions related to English communication.
授業時間外学習 Review and Preview	Preparation for this class: 1st year Basic English courses completed Review of this class: Skills will be used in the course of Foreign Language Communication II
評価方法 Evaluation Method	・平常点等(100点)　配点内訳：Evaluations will be based on class participation (including quizzes) (70%) and a final test (30%).
