Students will learn about sociolinguistic topics, and learn to analyze and express opinions from a sociolinguistic perspectives on current, global language issues. Students will listen to lectures, peer presentations and prepare their own presentations. |

Read all materials given in class, search for and source own research materials, and be prepared for discussions and presentations. Preparation (予習): Before coming to class, students are expected to have finished reading the designated section of the textbook and filling out the handout. Review (復習): During and after class, students are to take notes on the (already filled out) handout and re-submit them showing newly learned information. |
