Echizen handmade Washi (handmade paper) covers the walls of the large Conference room, Special room, and Special Meeting room in the Administration and Conference Wing, furnished by the Association of Washi in Imadate Town.Handmade Washi was made mixing Mitsumata, Kouzo, straw of Ganpi, and cedar bark, and was applied by hand to those rooms by Hyogu-shi(craftmen) in Fukui. Machine-made Washi covers the walls of most other rooms in the Administration and Conference Wing.
