本学は、令和5年度文部科学省科学技術人材育成費補助事業「ダイバーシティ研究環境実現イニシアティブ（女性リーダー育成型）」に選定されました。本事業は、学院創立100周年に向けて「MUKOJOACTION 2019→2039」及び「新しい武庫女教育」の方針に沿った取り組みとなっています。
社会変動に対応する教育・研究を継承・発展させる資質を備え、独自性のある知の創造と伝播に向けた研究を推進できる次世代女性リーダーの育成を目指しています。新たに開設した「女性研究リーダー育成推進センター」と「武庫川女子大学サイエンス・コモンズ」が、学内外研究者の活発な研究交流のプラットフォームとなることを期待しています。

Mukogawa Women’s University has been selected as an institution to participate in the Initiative for Realization of Diversity Research Environment (Development of Woman Leader Type), the fiscal 2023 project subsidized by the Human Resources Development Fund for Science and Technology. This project is an initiative in line with the policies of “MUKOJO ACTION 2019→2039” and “New Mukojo Education” toward the university’s 100th anniversary.
We aim to nurture the next generation of women leaders who have the qualities to carry on and develop education and research that respond to social changes, and who can promote research for the creation and propagation of unique knowledge. In addition, we have newly established the Center for the Empowerment of Women Leaders and the Mukogawa Women’s University Science Commons, which we hope will serve as a platform for active research exchange between researchers inside and outside the university.

本事業は、「女子総合大学における挑戦的次世代リーダー育成プログラム」をテーマとしています。
具体的には、博士学生に対するフェローシップ制度や若手女性研究者の国内外の研究研修制度の構築、また、知の拠点となる「武庫川女子大学サイエンス・コモンズ」を開設しました。サイエンス・コモンズでは、関西圏女子大学発・産学連携ダイバーシティーネットワークの大学や企業と連携して領域架橋横断的重点共同研究の推進事業を計画しています。
女性活躍が必要とされている時代に、次世代女性リーダー育成プログラムとして若手女性研究者の裾野拡大、女性研究者の上位職への登用など先駆的モデルプログラムを発信できるよう全学で取り組んでまいります。

The theme of this project is “The Program for Developing Challenging Next-Generation Leaders at Women’s University.” Specifically, we plan to establish a fellowship system for doctoral students and a domestic and international research training system for young women researchers. We have established Mukogawa Women’s University Science Commons as a platform for knowledge. At the Science Commons we plan to promote cross-disciplinary and focused joint research in cooperation with universities and companies participating in the Diversity Promotion Network for Industry-Academia Collaboration from Women's Universities in the Kansai Region.
In this era when women’s activities are in high demand, the entire university will work together to provide programs to nurture young women researchers and to disseminate a pioneering model for promoting women researchers to higher positions.
